The IPCC findings, reports and political advice are all based on an hypothesis. The hypothesis has been so severely mauled, debunked and proven wrong (and here, here, here, here) that it is criminal to continue policies based on it. I seem to remember reading somewhere that even the latest cores show that the true co2 levels are not represented in the ice.
According to IPCC philosophy nature stopped producing co2 when industrialization started and took over.
Carbon credits establish title to common property, carbon dioxide. Did you give permission? Co2 is harmless free fertilizer that is being stolen from us by deceit AND we are being taxed for the pleasure. 30 million in European carbon trading, the insurance and hedge funds are buying into the con action.
In recent times the Sun has been hotter than at any time in the past 8,000 years. But we have cooled since 1998. Even without 1998, the trend since is slightly downhill. We have cooled since the 1930s. We have cooled since a number of arbitrary other points in time. Of course I could be an alarmist and say we have warmed since the 40s, since the little ice age, and a number of arbitrary other points in time.
Then there is the Medieval Warmer Period that IPCC scientists desperately tried to hide in false data, (the hockey stick - broken) that was likely warmer than today, globally. Proof, click here. Today' warming is far from unprecedented in recent historical and geologic time. And is extremely likely up to 50% lower than the hysterical UN panel claim of 0.7 deg C last century. Proof, click here. (Why did the IPCC hide the truth from governments?) What studies also show is the world was healthier, wealthier and less prone to war in warm periods. Less stormy and more productive. The opposite in cooler times.
Co2 in the air has diminished since the early part of last century when it reached levels well over 400ppm. Arbitrary points again depends on what data is cherry picked. The oceans control the amount of co2 in the air to the finest degree. The sea emits and absorbs around 1.7 to 2 giga tonnes per week, globally we emit perhaps around 0.11 - 0.17 giga tonnes per week. The sea absorbs around 50% of this. 99% of the absorbed gas remains unchanged as harmless co2 in the water, much is carried to the deep to resurface in around 100-1,000 years from now. Beware the acid oceans con. The co2 coming out of the warmer sea over and above the amount absorbed is likely what was absorbed in the little ice age and earlier cool periods.
Sea levels have fallen at any number of places where measuring takes place. A simple google for 'falling sea level' will produce lowering sea levels all over the world. The average yearly amount is a rise of 1-2mm pa, that hasn't changed. Many gauges are in areas that are subsiding. Their data is used to fool the public into thinking seas are rising at unprecedented levels. They aren't. Addition to the sea from glacier melt is offset, perhaps more than, by precipitation as snow over the polar areas. Warm oceans mean more precipitation. The sea expands mainly in response to heating principally from the c. 3,000,000 sub sea volcanoes and mantle emission at faults especially the mid Atlantic fault at the Greenland end, and a little from the Sun.

The IPCC must know that these facts are common currency among scientists who deal with the real world but as they don't provide the justification for draconian measures, they are passed over in favour of proven false virtual reality from modellers. They got a sharp smack from the climate when it refused to warm any more after 1998 despite increasing co2 levels. Didn't slow them down though, they simply cherry picked more data to blame on virtual warming. Such as UK flooding that in reality was influenced by the jet stream. And carried on banging the empty drum, even today, about co2 being a pollutant. They must know it isn't or they are so deluded they should be in care.
29 billion in green tax the government creams off every year and they want to increase it. A lot. No wonder they support the broken AGW hypothesis.
And not forgetting those poor, threatened, seal pup eating 30,000 polar bears whose population just keeps increasing. The natives eat them. They are legally hunted in Canada as well. And they are culled to keep the numbers down.
The Sahara has shrunk due to increased co2. China had bumper rice harvests thanks to increased co2. The list of benefits is endless. Ask Bellamy.
What this amounts to is that there has been unremarkable warming and unremarkable increases in co2 levels and these will continue at unremarkable levels until conditions outside our control (oceans warming and cooling, the Sun) dictate the time for cooling. Newspaper alarmism reverses every 10 - 20 years.
It's a global political and scientific disgrace. I'm a featherweight denier, however I can find info on any issue you believe supports kyoto and the IPCC dogma. Want to stop 'global warming'? Campaign for cities to have more parks, especially around surface stations where temperature is measured.
One fifth of a degree by 2100, in other words a delay of a few years, should warming resume. 29 billion a year already. Cough. And how much in penalties?
There is a genuine $125,000 free money to the first person to prove humans are causing catastrophic global warming. I wonder why it hasn't been claimed?

From Bali, the ballyhoo continues apace. They want fixed emissions reduction meaning they want to bag our harmless, beneficial co2. They want us to pay billions for it. Why? 0.26 deg C reduction in increase by 2100 if the weather warms again and if there is full co-operation, both being so unlikely as to make the target phantasmic. Around 155 countries don't have anything to do with kyoto.

Knowing Antarctic sea ice is already breaking extent records in successive years, strongly suspecting reduction in that sea ice started the recovery from the last ice age, what could the increasing sea ice hold in store for us I wonder?
